I was looking as some older land cards for my EDH deck I'm working on and I found this combo. Vampire hexmage turn one with Dark ritual, turn 2 play Dark depths and pop the hexmage to get a 20/20 flyier out. The rest of the deck is just a few other win conditions and creature destruction.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth works wonders in here too. It can cover for that t1 dark ritual. t1 Dark Depths, t2 Urborg, Hexmage, win.

i think you mean, t1 urborg, ritual hexmage t2 dark depths. its be same as using a swamp but your rasing the cost of the deck by like 8$ a urborg you throw in. unless im missing something here.
You are missing something. You don't need a Dark Ritual at all. Urborg turns your Dark Depths into a Swamp, so tapping it produces [B], and Urborg itself is also considered a swamp.
but you still wont win til turn 3 because it doesnt have haste. so regardless. but your right, changes made, luckly i traded for a playset of them a week ago lol.
You can make it a turn 2 kill with 4 Lightning Greaves. As long as you can get another Dark Rit out.
then put lightning greaves in here then lol
