Add a phantasmal image. You can copy your lord of the unreal, except that the copy is an illusion and is therefore hexproof.

I can see precursor golem backfiring VERY badly. Though if it goes well it should go VERY well. I would suggest adding moar splicers, and perhaps a doubling season if you can get your hands on one.
