Simple, low casting life gaining/life reducing deck. The mechanics in the Theros block really work well together in these colours and I was always a fan of lifesteal decks. I think this theme could be potentially competitive in Theros Block Constructed format tournaments.Let me know what you think - suggestions always welcome.
One thing to note about this deck is that it s not meant for attacking. You want to get out low casting creatures for the triggered abilities. There are a lot of mechanics that work with Enchantments, and therefore, the majority of creatures in the deck are enchantment-based. Almost everything revolves around life gaining, forcing an opponent to lose life (not damage), or both. This deck works especially well in 2HG.One potentially ideal starting hand (not hard to get):Temple of SilenceNyx-Fleece RamGrim GuardianFate UnravelerHero's DownfallSwampPlainsBaleful Eidolon is in the deck as a blocker. Works extremely well with the low casting, enchantment-based creatures that trigger Constellation and work extremely well with Athreos (also with Gray Merchant and Dictate of Erebos). The removal is mainly for creatures which you can't block (like flyers or unblockables), or pesky Gods/Planeswalkers that won't go away. There are lots of neat combos in here and ways to use up mana when you can't cast anything else (Erebos, Underworld Coinsmith and Scholar of Athreos).

FYI, Whip of Erebos and Fate Unraveler are a good combo too :) Also adds 2 black for devotion.

Not sure what you're getting at with that combo, but yes, the Whip can be lots of fun in this deck. That's why it's there in the sideboard :) It's not really what I'm trying to aim for with the deck though, which is why it's there for circumstances where the normal deck setup won't work.
What success have you had with this deck UndeadCow? It's quite interesting.
To be honest, I haven't been able to bring out it's full potential as I am still missing some of the cards. However, I made a variation of it, using some of the sideboard cards, and I've beaten several different Theros archetypes including blue/white heroic, black/red minotaur, green/blue control and black/blue control. Obviously, I've had bad games as well, but generally it is because I don't have all the cards I need to build the deck properly, specifically some of the gods, some fate unravelers, and some removal. I haven't played in a game where proxies were allowed, but playtesting this deck online seems very promising. I'd love to see how it would work if someone used it with all of the cards I have listed.
