Rules are simple, Use only one creature type. Lands that activate to become creatures are the exception. IE mishra's factor, Ghitu encampment etc.. Changeling creatures (every creature type ) Is accepted also. This is a casual dragon deck i made a few years back and just getting around to updating it slowly. I've got to look for more newer dragons out there. vintage casual rules.

Isn't that format called "tribal" ?I've made a format of my own :)It can sort of incorporate tribal. You choose a keyword, and all your cards must have that exact word either in the name or in the flavortext. The only disadvantage of the format is that unless you use proxies it's a rich persons format...

interesting. I've known about tribal but wanted to use some older cards in this. I've got a play style format to test too. Its called secret alliance and I developed it years back in our play group.
Nice :)I've only ever created two formats and one isn't really a format.Back before I started focusing on building decks via evolution I was trying to find ways to create deck builds much faster. The result was the concept of halfdecks. You designed 30 card decks that could stand alone, and then you shuffled it together with another random halfdeck. The key idea was that if you have 10 halfdecks they can be combined in 45 different combinations. From a pro view the idea was to design meta based halfdecks where you could go to the local gamestore, take a look at the players, and knowing what they usually plays you could then pick the two halves that had the optimal chances of beating them.Decktag: halfdeckThis decktag actually had a lot of followers at a time, but in the end it turned out that people had very different ideas on how to employ it. But someone with a solid competitive playgroup might be able to generate some insane lists. At one point in time I took the effort to dissect most modern decks into two halves just to see if it was doable. So it can be used competitively. You should add format rules. I know that many people in here love new formats :)
Yeah ive got to get organized. i like that concept. years ago id play 100 card regular decks which were a combination of ideas like that.
The thing about being organized is that it takes practice. All skills are gainable if you train them.I used to be rather disorganised in the past, but I have trained myself to be better. I'm also at the edge of reorganizing my tag system so that it will be much easier to read through my stuff.A lot of it is about how to tweak your deck in strange and wondrous ways :)
Only creatures? I see spells. Also you should do elementals
elementals look like a great next deck!
