Not really much to say, just a fun little idea I've been wanting to try out thanks to this awesome little troll.

I love the use of the hunted creatures in the deck. I also like the idea with Deathrender and Plague Boiler. Both very interesting in this deck. Please take a look at the Varloz EDH I'm working on and post any ideas or thoughts. http://www.mtgvault.com/toastyknickers/decks/varolz-the-scar-striped-edh/ Great ideas in this deck. Well done.
Yeah, the Hunted Creatures are great. Especially in Varolz, since the Horror is 7 Counters for just BBAnd Plague Boiler is a great clock that can go off in response to removal (sans Krosan Grip) if enough mana is available.
The thing that makes me a bit leary of Horror is the two free pro-black creatures. I do want to cast the creatures then sac them to Varloz for regen. Having two pro-black creatures means (to me at least) two absolute blockers for your general and horror itself. Two bodies to sac to abilities and such so they dont lose what they need. and two damage sources because now half my deck cant block. The troll is much better in my oppinion.
Thing about the centaurs though, is I wouldn't cast Horror unless I had clear control of the board, or if I had any of my ways to deal with them out i.e. Mystifying Maze, any of my non-black creatures, Decree of Pain in Hand, a plague boiler ready to blow, or my Rogue's Passage and a big enough creature. With Horror, you have to be a teensy bit conservative in the way you play him, but he's just as good as Troll if used properly.
I could see that. I'll be taking my deck to a local EDH league, and that will definitely be a card I keep in mind if I see that I think I could handle it.
I get what you mean, the meta always defines what to use and what not to use, especially in this format.
