Well, dear friends, you'll notice I posted a budget Marchesa EDH deck not too long ago, which I made for a friend of mine. Now that he sold the deck to me (just lost interest in playing!) I've made the Marchesa deck a monster! The idea behind it is simple, cast Marchesa, bring out fat creatures, swing with them and sac them. Then rinse and repeat. The card best suited to get this deck really rolling is Sneak Attack, which is Marchesa's best friend. And if your buddies are taking care of Marchesa, get Mikaeus out there as the backup commander. This deck is a ton of fun and gets ridiculous quickly! Any comments or suggestions are appreciated as always!

Looks like a really solid build. The only thing I notice right away is the absence of Drana, Liberator of Malakir. Prettygood beside Marchesa. Oh ya, and a Maze of Ith.

Thank you for the comment and love for my deck! Drana is a fringe card I've given a measure of consideration. I'd have to playtest her out first to see how often I can get her to hit my opponents, if at all. As for Maze of Ith, I typically consider it for all my EDH decks while in building mode. I might have left it out thinking I had enough cards to mess with an opponent's creatures sufficiently, that and not wanting to give up a land slot in a deck that already hurts for mana occasionally. I'll give both cards some second thought, no doubt!
Along the same lines as Drana the New Olivia seems like it could fit as well. Again I agree it will need play testing.
Yeah, I just wish I didn't have to discard a card with new OIivia, otherwise it would have been a no-brainer.
Yes agreed. Much better in a deck that turns the downside into value. like in this case the obvious Madness mechanic or Reanimation. If you had more reanimation effect I'd say go for it since the synergy is there.
Here's a link to my EDH deck. It's pretty competitive as well. Not really looking for much advise on it, just thought I'd share. :) http://www.mtgvault.com/maniacalmaniac/decks/merens-demonic-pod-edh/
