The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
This is a modified version of the Forest Bear Studios Affinity deck, an ultra-fast artifact deck with lots of metalcraft that can win as early as turn 3. This removes some of the non-critical expensive cards (i.e. mox opals and lands that turn into creatures) to reduce the cost from 450 USD to 140 USD.NOTE: To make the deck more optimized, replace a few 2-CMC creatures with Mox Opals.
Initially, try to dump as many cards from your hand onto the battlefield as possible. Got two ornithopters? Play both of them. Give up that life for Watery Grave to come in untapped. Pay the life for the phyrexian mana on Vault Skirge. The quicker you are able to attack, the better. Worry not about running out of cards, because Thoughtcasts are quite handy. Then in the next few turns, figure out what sort of strategy your opponent has. If he's playing a slower deck, go under it. Start with cranial plating on those ornithopters and smash away with your flying 7/2s. If your opponent is playing a fast deck like yours, go for the long-term strategy - because you know that your creatures will become very powerful. Set out Etched Champion to block and start building up with Steel Overseer and Master of Etherium until you have the power to completely crush your opponent. Here's a very good setup:Hand: 1 Ornithopter, 2 Memnite, 1 Darksteel Citadel, 1 Vault Skirge, 1 Signal Pest, 1 Cranial Plating.Turn 1: Cast Ornithopter, double Memnite, Darksteel Citadel, Cast Vault Skirge, paying life for the phyrexian mana. That's 5 permanents on the battlefield on turn 1, and 5 artifacts - you'll be able to cast that Cranial Plating and the Signal Pest in the next couple of turns, and if you are able to equip the Cranial Plating, you can have an 8/1 flying lifelink Vault Skirge on turn 3. Not many decks are fast enough to beat it from there.
