I was thinking about this and I only have 1 suggestion, and that is possibly Warleader's Helix. It seems like this deck might be a bit bad against the mono red decks coming out, so that gives good removal and lifegain to survive their early game.Seems like a really fun deck to troll people with.

XD thanks? I'm currently running another that also features him in standard. It's a bit like this one, except more midrange and graveyard-based, and less ooze exiling.
I find that for my deck, im already exiling everything with oozes and shamans, so varolz is useless. corpsejack is a great card, and would be terrific for later game, but a bunch of the time I don't want to be playing big stuff, I want to be getting more damage through by pumping ooze + lotleth. if I drew him I would discard him.
I'd still add one or two more mana at least, because otherwise I don't think you could ever successfully get to enough mana for deadbridge chant or death's presence. normally a deck that runs 20 land has a mana curve that stops at 3.
Should have probably put both those inmade this deck in about two minutes XD
:D k thx
well, its not that important, but I find in almost all matchups (except for super slow control) it does help a lot. I might replace them later.
Thanks, I like the deck a Lot myself. The only reason I haven't added in deadbridge chant is it seems to expensive for this deck. I can rarely get up to 6 mana in a normal game, unless im seriously flooded. dark favor is used to either pump lotleth for really quick kills, or sometimes to put on a boar or slitherhead to get more damage through if they have a few blockers. also the health isn't really a factor, because of ooze and shaman life gain. and yeah I should put a mangler or two in.
shhhh....... I might not have read the card entirely............
Great! totally forgot about himonly problem I have with him is he trades down, but he also trades with 5 and 6 drops... but then he dredges! so yay
Dreg Mangler might be a better option, but I really like the versatility of being able to bloodrush it onto a lotleth troll, then exile it, etc, if im stuck on mana, whereas I could only discard the mangler. it's still a better topdeck facing control, so I would probably sideboard them. maybe main sometimes.
Holy crap, I am SOOO exited about his new deck idea I had, I swear It could actually be a seriously legit strategy.http://www.mtgvault.com/turtle228/decks/ooze-awesomeness/Also only m14 and return to ravnica block!
Good deck, my only worry is that it might not stand up to other achtypes, because your threats might not be quite as effective as, say, a swagtusk.also take out viridian emissary to make it standard!!!, it's not that big a thing to take out and it wont impact the deck that much. probably put in deathrite shaman instead
I did write a big how to play, but I edited the deck after and it got deleted :/its kind of a work in progress now, but the idea is to play Deathrite Shaman turn one, then ooze or lotleth turn two.lotleth gets creatures into your graveyard, scavenging ooze exiles them, gains you life, makes all your dudes bigger.use grisly salvage + doom blade to get more spells + creatures into the grave, exile them to ooze and deathrite for lots of beatdown. also put in dark favor to slap on lotleth for ridiculous hits.
Kind of thinking about maining megantic sliver, he makes ur threats ridiculous with infect and u have a fair bit of ramp to get him out
lol, if u need a deck that runs Tibalt well, look at Chandralt, Firebrand Fiend by Urinduil. its pretty lol. also thx for the suggestion, probably will!
Trust me, other people do! :D
I would suggest Selesnya Sanctuary, Temple Garden, Sunpetal Grove, etc. for mana fixing. Like it otherwise :)

By the way, intangible virtue and phantom general don't actually give "counters", they just give +1/+1. Crowned Ceratok is only for counters, like from evolve, etc
