actually, you definatly want 4 ichorclaw myrs. Because you attack with them, then the opponent block, which gives it +2/+2 and then you throw down go for the throat and unnatural predation and then you've doen 3 counters right there.
Not bad, I have a similar deck that more relies on using instants like giant growth in combo with unnatural predation and overwhelming stampede for trample. So your basically attacking, killing the blockers, and then givng trample. That's pretty cool. The only thing is that i would switch out the cystbearers for rot wolfs, and tangle angler for ichorclaw myr. Anything more than that and i would be completely changing the deck.
OH shit, thank you. This was really helpful.
With trample, it definately get's the +2/2, that is why I love that card, but i was just thinking that it might be even better than imagined.
why doesn't the damage go through? If I use go for the throat on the nighthawk, then wouldn't the myr attack the player?
I would ditch the Islands all together. Swith out the distortion strikes for Prey's Vengeance and Preordain with Mirran Mettle. Also, since you don't really have much flying, you should consider switching out some instants for like, unnatural predation, or overrun.
I would Switch out the Zeniths for Brass Squires. This deck would be super awesome if you always had 1 or two of those guys on the field. But other than that, this seems pretty stellar, at least at first glance.
I plan on getting a skithiryx or two in place of like, a rot wolf and/ or Phyrexian Hydra. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
