I have no black in this deck either....

Check out my Ascension deck or some of my other earlier ones. I'm quite proud of that deck, it's modern-legal and you can win turn three.
I've thought about adding that actually. At one point there was some black splashed in but I decided to take it out because it worked better for the mechanic. Life gain seemed a rather moot point if I could just kill my opponent faster.
Updated it, thanks for the suggestions!
Interesting. Idk about 5, though.
I just added Signal the Clans and Idyllic Tutor to hopefully speed it up a bit.
I find it kind of ironic that it's a slow deck considering everything costs 4 or less haha
Man, I wish. I've been racking my brain for ways to make it faster but haven't found the solution yet. You can however get the secondary combo out by turn 4 which is pretty dope.
This is pretty similar to my Ascension deck, but I must say that there are some spells in here that don't do much for the mechanic. Wound Reflection is far too expensive and Megrim has no effect as you aren't making people discard in anyway.
Is Early Harvest modern legal?
That being said, I do respect Northy a whole bunch and understand the point of building for other people. I just think that if you already have the idea and experience building, you should probably build it yourself.
I kind of agree with Umoonpuca on this one. I've been building decks for a long time and once I get an idea to start one that's usually it, I'll just build the entire thing all at once. I can't see the point in asking for someone to start it for you, especially if your only goal is to screw with the build they do. Deck building is an art that shouldn't be outsourced to someone else in the hopes that you can improve on what they do later, it's something you must do alone or it's not truly 'your' deck. As if gatherer and other card searches are that hard to use, I can build a deck in a half hour sometimes.
It would be in most cases, but the point of this deck is to fill the graveyard as much as possible so you can swing with a big creature.
Not at all, I actually incorporated what you said into the changes I made. I added figure of destiny who can use the mana during upkeep, more burn spells and brute strength because they utilize Braid of Fire.
I like the semantic trickery, well played.
Nowhere does it state that you have to use the mana that it produces, though it does happen on your upkeep. Mana burn isn't a thing anymore if you hadn't heard.... and the mana does empty at the end of the phase but the upkeep states that I have to produce the mana, not necessarily use it.
No need to apologize, I was just saying that it's a rather tricky thing to make a deck with no land. I realize that I might have seemed a bit curt.
For fetch.
I'm still trying to figure this one out, but thank you.
