Deck Description

I try to put together a milling deck, a concept I found really interesting when playing Duels of the Planeswalkers.

How to Play

I play defenders to keep myself protected; it try to keep enemies at bay with removal spells and Dissolve. Emphasis is, of course, playing Consuming Aberrations, Mind Grind and Traumatize.

Deck discussion for Murky waves

I like where you're going but I think you would be better served playing the deck in a more Grundy slow style. Try dumping the bigger mill spells (or at least traumatize and all but one or two abberations), things like the tome scours, and the weakest defenders (door keepr and murmuring phantasm) for more removal. Add in 3 more mill stones for win conditions and then I think you will be much better off.

Thanks! I will definitely try something along these lines. The idea with doorkeeper was that it is able to create some synergy with the defenders if I have nothing to play and have mana on my hands. Was there a problem with this concept?

Its easy to remove creatures. Doom Blade, Heroes Downfall, or even Ultimate Price.

I have done some quite substantial redesign. Thanks for everyone for the comments (some found me on Magic Online). Comments are still appreciated.

Watery Grave is a great addition if you can get your hands on it. Also, check out Phenax on the spoiler.

I did some substantial redesigns, which, so far provides the most consistent chance to win:
