Deck Description

so I wanted to make an infect decl again...but this time, instead of doing what 99% of infect players do (fill the deck up with weanies and an ungodly amount of pumps) i went a little smarter, atleast i think so lol. The wincon for this deck if you couldn't tell would be my tempered steels. They worked very well in my myr/construct deck so why not work the same in an arti-infect deck? Spellskite will be helpful for those pesky removal spells so i can keep my guys alive atleast for a little bit and force my opponent to meet my 1/1 and 2/2 infect guys with the ts pump :) and of course anjani is really being used for his +1/+1 counters so thats more pump, not rapid instant pumps, but long term, build up..kinda like a myr deck..you don't want this deck to get further into the game.

Dispense justice is nice with the metalcraft, it has saved my myr deck a few times and choking fumes is even nicer...especially against those decks that ramp up a bunch of little dudes for a massive swing for 1 point each....kinda like a DoJ to your opponent if they are playing something silly stupid like kuldotha rebirth:)

and last but not least, dispatch. yet another wonderful card i believe as i can either open a path to swing my poison through, or thanks to metalcraft, get rid of one of his pesky baddies all together.

I notice the apparant flaw to this deck which is being something that struggles with removal but, im hoping the spellskite will buy enough time to survive that.

anyways, thanks for looking and let me know what you think! :)

Deck discussion for non pump infect?! who would think so logically?

Was curious to see how you could pull off a decent white infect deck. Looks like you did a great job and props for being quite different than most infect decks.

Nice job and good luck with the deck

thank you for looking:) yeah, i wanted to make one that was different from the rest. im tired of seeing the pump decks. they either have playsets of giant growth, groundswell, and vines of vastwood, or on the darker side of virulent swipe, and vampires bite.

I think with NPH released, there is ways to make infect more efficient in the main meta games, just have to find the right combination of cards.

I'd suggest changing Phyrexian Digester for Core Prowler. 1 mana more for 1 toughness and profilerate.

i do like Prowlers added ability, but because he is a 4 drop for a 2/2, it turned me away. even with proliferate it isn't worth it. That is why i stayed away from the 2 types of infect decks out there: either a mass amount of pumps, or they proliferate. type 1 is risky and is easily shut down, and type 2, proliferate is just way to slow.

i would recommend taking out 3 Phyrexian Digesters and 1 Phyrexian Juggernaut for 2 Core Prowlers and 2 Frantic Salvages. in fact, i might even take out the 4 Choking Fumes for 4 Tumble Magnets (keeping some Choking Fumes on the sideboard vs aggro decks).

but overall very good deck

prowlers and salvages are running me off because of the mana cost. I did sideboard the choking fumes though for the 4x tumble magnets which thank you for that because i have used tumble magnets before in the past and turned out very useful. I also added my sideboard which i think may be helpful. DoJ is mainly for those ramped aggro decks that pump out a bunch of dudes quick fast and a hurry.
