Deck Description

My personal favorite deck - A White soldier deck built around Crusader of Odric. I've owned other Soldier decks in the past, but the ability of Crusader made it too tempting to not build around and it plays very well.

**Deck Update** - Replaced Attended Knight with Precinct Captain. Replaced one Honor of the Pure with Cathar's Crusade. Replaced two Safe Passage with Bonds of Faith.
**Deck Update** - Pulled Elspeth, Sun's Champion from a Theros booster. Replaced Elspeth Tirel with Champion.

How to Play

Crusader of Odric is the key here. Pacifism/Bonds of Faith/Safe Passage used to delay while I build up creatures/tokens with Precinct Captain & Captain's Call. One or two attacks supplemented by Glorious Charge and/or Honor of the Pure is usually enough as I typically have greater numbers. Captain of the Watch provides +5/+5 to Crusader when it comes into play - perfect for a late game push. Odric can end the game in one attack (I declare no blockers!) & with Elspeth I can token spam to boost Crusader & boost all creatures for a late game push. I don't rely on either of them as part of the deck strategy, so they're nice bonuses if I manage to pull them.

I hadn't even heard of fencing ace before :|

Precinct Captain looks like it would be a good addition as well, but what to take out? Benalish Veteran? Hmm...

Switch out Attended Knight for Precinct Captain.

Precinct costs less, and brings a token every time I deals damage as opposed to once when summoned.

Thanks king! Also, replacing Attended Knight with Precinct Captain removes the only non-soldier creature in the deck. It's a win-win!

Maybe try Cathars' Crusade and Mikaeus, The Lunarch to pump up your creatures. I know mikaeus isn't a soldier but he really helps out when you have a lot of tokens on the field.

I liked Cathars' Crusade and I actually had a copy - so I replaced one of my Honor of the Pures. If it works well enough, I'll probably replace the other two, but I would also need to buy copies... sometimes I think I spend too much on this game :D
