Why is army of the damned in the deck? It's black.

Good suggestion, but this deck was intended to be standard worthy.

Also, Blossoming sands is better than the guildgate. You could also go for Jungle shrine. It's still cheap.

What about venom sliver. It combos with striking and hunter sliver, and acts as a one sided board wipe every time you attack.
