How to Play

I used to play a version of this years ago - i stopped playing Magic for years, after Alliances came out. I got hooked again and searched for cards to improve my old 1.5-deck.

It's as fast as red-green can get I think. And it's pretty easy, too: Get mana, get the guys out, do the damage - and have fun! You could put one or two Jokulhaups in to start all over again after a couple of turns. Make sure you got a few mana left in your pool, so that our opponent will face some creatures e.g. Kird Apes while she/has neither land nor creatures out.

Many first hands allow you to have dealt up to ten points of damage at the end of your second turn. Don't be afraid to sacrifice Forests with the Orcish Lumberjack and to take mana burn from the Burning-Tree Emissaries!

Put the big bad boys in if your opponent uses spells against creatures with low toughness.

Deck discussion for Bye Bye Badman

Elixir of Immortality would work well in this deck methinks. Heck even a Vexing Devil.

Looks fun to play. Check out my modern discard deck I just made if you have a spare minute.

Elixir of Immortality is a good idea - it gets all the spells back into the deck... I used to play with the Devil, but I got a bit fed up by it. I think it's too mighty and therefore annoying. We shall try to win without him! :-) What do you think? I'm gonna check your deck now!

If you really want to be mean... Use Undying Evil with vexing devil, it's just unfair. I had a rakdos deck based on it. Wouldn't work too well with the elementals, however.

Thanks for checking out my deck! Feedback is always appreciated.

Undying Evil is quite hard to handle, especially in combination with the Vexing D. Do you know any red or black tutoring spells? I need them for another deck to get the combo going...

For modern legal you can use Diabolic Tutor, for anything goes you can use Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, or Goblin Tutor.

Thanks! Unfortunately the first two are banned in Legacy (just googled that)...
