Deck discussion for Low Burn 2.5

I like the style for sure. I'd say you'd only need to look out for land destruction (though even then...), you'd also want to have a way around life gain. Perhaps punishing fire I believe because as soon as your hand is played, you wont be able to deal the damage you need at a quick pace. Good deck.

Yeah when i have played my hand ex. 2 lava spikes 1 goblin arsonist goblin grenade 2 mountains 1 lightning bolt and Vexing devil, i have dealed, 6 + 1 + 5 + 3 + 4 = 18 dmg, In 4 turns, so one lightning bolt and it's done. LD is only thing Im worried about but not so many are playing it. Punishing fire is 2 cmc 2 dmg and i can get it to my hand, i like it though but it's not as effective as chain lightning or lightning bolt.

Try layline of punishment to deal with life gain.

Well, the life gain is just prevalent now with lifelink and what not. Oi, that reminds me though, do watch out for even removal then. That goblin grenade is really awsome and the synergy with the goblin arsonist is even better but with the stack, one removal can catch your creature and the spell so to speak. Not that there isn't an answer for everything, just being as constructive as I can in what to possibly look/ watch out for. :)

Actualy, you can't respond to goblin grenade by removing the creature. Sacrificing is part of the cost so the spell goes on the stack after the goblin is sacrificed.

Hi Tremorth,

You asked me to take a look at your deck.

First off, the deck will need a sideboard if you want the deck to be taken seriously.

I'm not a big fan of Goblin Arsonist or Goblin Fireslinger. Prefer Keldon Marauders, Figure of Destiny
and Hellspark Elemental but they don't make sense in a deck that is sporting goblin grenade so I guess they all should stay.

If you put in 4 Great Furnace and 4 Darksteel Citadel and you could run Kuldotha Rebirth and if your play group doesn't mind you playing a Legacy banned card add 4 Black Vise.

Personally I'd run Fireblast over Demonfire. Winds of Change I'd change out for Price of Progress.

Finally, replace 2 mountain with 2 Barbarian Ring.

I recently have been working on making low cost legacy decks that are based on major Tourney winning decks.
Here is the link to the Red Deck Wins deck:

These decks should give you ideas about how to make a sideboard and cards that have worked well in tourney environment.

May always make your own good luck,

Hi Tremorth, thanks for your comments on my hex this deck; I've added a bit of an illusion theme now; although my deck looks pretty delver now; I think I might enhance the illusion side once 2013 is out, what do you think of my changes? Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=354678

In terms of your deck, have you played the 2013 pc/xbox game; there are a lot of very cool goblin cards in there; my fav are:
Goblin piledriver 1/2 (cost (1+1red) protection from blue, whenever it attacks it gets +2/+0 for each other attacking goblin.
Relentless assault (2 + 2red): sorcery, untap all creatures, additonal combat phase and main phase.
Smelt (cost 1red): destroy target artifact (for the side board)
Krenko, Mob Boss 3/3 (cost 2 plus 2red), tap - put X 1/1 red goblins on the battlefield, where X is No of goblins you control.

So I think you might need to free up some space in your deck soon :)
