Another Jhoira EDH with whatever cards i had plus the ones you absolutely need for her like WorldFire. There are a couple cards in here that are not that great that are going to be replaced by better cards when i get them. Currently this is the actual deck that I own. As always input is always appreciated. Edit: As of september 18th Worldfire has been added to the edh ban list so that particular combo is now null. Bummer.

If you don't have the other Kaldra cards I would replace your shield with Darksteel Plate.

you know i didnt think of that good point. thx
some really cool stuff, but you're screwed when you come up any burn deck, it takes tons of mana to get anything. you have 10 cards with 7+ mana! but i do like that you chose worldfire.
Did you read Jhoira of the Ghitu's ability? The cost of cards means nothing as long as she's out :p
Worldfire followed up by a lightning bolt will kill anyone.
:) your gonna have to be a bit more creative or at least use a suspended rift bolt. worldfire exiles all permanents, your hand and your graveyard then resets all life to 1.
This is a very nice idea. Other cards I would add to this, which aid the mechanic, are deep sea kraken, fury charm, jhoira's timebug (must must must have!!!), rift elemental, shivan sandmage, timebender and timecrafting. I'd also include things like Arcanis, the omnipotent, and that blue sphinx (I forget the name) that lets you draw cards easily. Probably also worth including some more removal, since by the very nature of suspend, this will take longer to get going.
you know i saw a coulple of those suspend counter removing cards and really decided Id rather go the counterspell route and let players play around my cards but play counter for counter to get the ones i really want on the field. It took me a long debate to even include clockspinning but the buyback one it for that one, however I don't believe i've ever seen the timebug. I'll have to do some playtesting with him thanks for the suggestion.
First thing to note if you are like I was, suspend gives the creatures haste (I totally didn't know that for ages) Excellent creatures to include for this: Knollspine Dragon (his card draw is so so very sexy) Sphinx of Magosi (which is the draw card one, alluded too above) Avatar of Fury (If you loose Jhoira you can cast him cheep) Inferno Titan (works very well with Worldfire) Dragon Mage (wheel effect on a big guy) Detritivore (People shouldn't mind if you only hit really problem lands with him) Things that reduce reliance on Jhoira: Omniscience (spells cost nothing!) Mindwrack Liege (works on only blue/red creatures and I don't recomend it unless you go more creature heavy) Spinerock Knoll (Red Hideaway land) Protecting Jhoira is key these can help: Lightning Greaves Clout of the Dominus (I like this one alot)
I'd need to play see how I feel about some of those cards but I do like the sphinx quite abit. Draw is always welcome in this deck. Im gonna take a look at the other cards on your list and see wether or not they're my playstyle and how they'd mesh with the deck. Another thing is everyones playgroup is different which always makes for certain changes in the deck. knowing what would react well against my guys is something I always take into consideration but thanks for the list.
Also if anyone's got any cool ideas for a jhoira or other interesting EDH deck i'd love to see them
I've recently been thinking of trying a Jhoira storm deck. Based off of the storm mechanic from scourge. Suspend a bunch of spells. Manipulate them so they all land on the same turn. With all your open mana cast more spells and then cast the storm cards. Use doubling effects (twincast, reverberate) to up the storm count. Watch as everyone cries because they were so awed by complete awesomeness.
NIIiiiice we're gonna need a new alt win condition now that worldfires been banned in edh :(
