Deck Description

A hawkward deck that I'm planning on attempting. Artifacts and White are the main driving forces of the deck, supplying a majority of the creatures, along with some of the power up spells.
Blue and Red supply control for the deck. Blue is there for spell casting control and for card draw. Red provides creature control, and on some ocassions the final strike for the win.

I wasn't able to order Glint Hawk Idol, but I wish I was. Also I was unable to get Tempered steel for this deck, which is why i added in Honor of the Pure. Honor of the Pure seemed like a viable replacement for Tempered Steel, but I'm still new to this game so I'm most likely wrong.

The sword is thrown in for the same reason that the caw-go decks have them; defense and extra offense. I also have 2 swords of war and peace, if you guys think I should add them into the deck.

I believe that my biggest problem is going to be mana. If you have any suggestions, feel free to voice them. Thanks

Deck discussion for Hawkward

Running multiple colors with basics can be tough. To get lands, I recommend getting dual lands such as Seachrome Coast or vivid lands such as Vivid Crag.

I want to run these, but when I look them up online it says that they aren't standard legal. I was thinking of throwing in some Solemn Simulacrums, but with a turn 4 drop they seemed to slow for this deck.

you are playing a very tough mix here green is the one color that gives you mana ramp and makes it easiest to play three colors with out it you have to have the multilands seachrome coast(WHICH IS STANDARD LEGAL it was released in the scars bloc) as well as glacial fortress sack land would be nice but they are dropping off at the end of septmber(scalding tarn and arid mesa) i think you have to go up to at least 25 lands in this deck just for getting you mana base out there. and yes the tempered steel are a must have 3 of if possible as well as stell overseer but i believe it rotating out soon as well
