If legality doesn't matter, might I strongly suggest Crop Rotation to increase your chances of getting a Valakut when you need one. It's not biased to basic as most other land ramp tends to be. Alternatively, seeing as the build is so dependent on Omen, you might want to try to find a way to get it into your hand quicker. The draw mechanics are definitely going to help, but some type of dedicated search might be more beneficial, Intuition perhaps? Hope these ideas help!
