Deck discussion for Mono White Standard Angels

This deck has potential, but you should put a couple low mana creatures. Very vulnerable to a rush.

I was thinking about making a deck kind of like this but making it Black/White "Angels and Demons" kind of thing with Heartless Summoning and/or Unburial Rights so you can get those bigger cards out sooner (even if they're a little weaker).

In terms of this deck, it's not bad but like Richman said, you're pretty vulnerable to aggro decks. I would suggest taking out Codex Shredder, the Moonsilver Spears, and the Debtor's Pulpit and put in something like Blind Obedience because it'll slow down most r/? decks because haste will be irrelevent and when you do start casting things a couple turns later you'll be able to extort and gain back some of the life you'll early on. If Blind Obedience isn't your thing then maybe Angelic Wall (to keep the angel theme going).

Guardian of the Gateless, Emancipation angel and codex are straight up bad and should be removed. Many of your other angels are questionable or should be less in number. Glaring spotlight is really a sideboard card, and not mainboard. If you want an instant to protect your creatures from spells then "Rootborn Defenses" is better.

I also suggest you add red to the angel deck, that will give you access to burn spells to protect you in the early stages of the game. It also gives you access to "Firemane Avenger" "Gisels, Blade of Goldknight" and "Aurelia, the warleader" for angels. Also if you are in red you can use Boros charm for indestructibility to protect from removal among its other uses. You also need some sort of ramp ability, so Boros Keyrune would help a bit and maybe Chromatic Lantern. Also check out "Defy Death" to get your angels from the graveyard back into play with two 1/1 counters on them.

I apologize for not clarifying the exact "theme" of my deck. I have fixed the issue and I do indeed want to keep this deck mono white. Neither demons or black were recommended for this deck, only mentioned in a deck a player wanted to make.

For Burn spells I suggest "mizzium mortars" "Searing spear" "Bonfire of the damned" "Boros Charm".

Your duals for red / white are "Sacred Foundry" and "Clifftop Retreat"

But what if he wants a mono white deck? Lambasting him for not having another color in there seems stupid to me, it's HIS play style, not yours.

The deck is mono white, the theme is standard Angels. So i'm improving his theme by adding another color. Not to mention the first comment suggested adding black for demons.

You're not the end-all be-all to deck making bro. My advice, if the title says MONO white, don't come in here and tell him that he needs another color, then dictate the changes to be made, it's rude.
