The large amount of fast mana and large mana base are the key to this deck and the pain it can inflict. The idea is to use Nantuko Shade to start the initial beatdown. Then Kokusho, the Evening Star enters to either mop up your opponent or drain their life through his destruction. Laquatus\'s Champion can act as a finisher as well as some expert blocking. Finally at the end of the game Death Grasp or Living Death can be used as a finisher.

Bad. Why Akroma, why splash white? Why not consume spirit instead of Death Grasp in mono-black? And for what is basically a control deck (you will need to control as you play only one mana per turn) you have little enchantments/artifacts that ensure you don't get beatdown yourself with the few creatures that you could summon yourself.
