Just going by your playgroup's rules: Genju of the Realm doesn't become a creature, the land does. But it looks interesting

nice
nice, I would try to find one more win condition.also Ghost Quarter might be worth a look. At worst it's another free shuffle and at best its land destruction
M-oblins
cube suuuuuuuuuucksssssssssssssss
What about 1 of each god and running divination or other draw spells?
If you weren't looking to just splash some green into a mono black deck, you could always do Golgari Dredge which is very interesting in standard.Whip of ErebosNighthowlerDeathrite ShamanGrisly SalvageLotleth trollNyx WeaverJarad, Golgari Lich LordNemesis of mortalsSatyr WayfinderScavenging Ooze
I have a pretty traditional Standard Mono Black deck and recently I was thinking of doing just this it. Glad to see someone else had the same idea, must mean I'm not doing it wrong. That being said, I would replace Herald of Torment with something a little more heavy hitting. I would mainboard the 4 Master of the Feast (although I haven't quite seen how devastating all that draw will be against you), possibly drop down to 1-2 Whips and throw in another Vraska
nice. you could sideboard elixir of immortality or something along those lines to prevent milling
for real tho...lightning bolt...what's up with that
seriously...what am i missing?
Why not lightning bolt instead of lava spike?
I tried making a deck like this before but couldn't get it to work. However, some sick cards for this would be Shivan Wumpus and Akki Blizzard-Herder. and probably some more mana ramp
you can't have bringer of the blue dawn in a straight blue EDH deck, it's got the other 4 colors in the ability text.
Why not just make it standard? its already pretty close
^^^ like ^^^
that's what i would assume too, but in this fantasy world of mtg vault couldn't you spare an extra 5 monopoly dollars to put a temple of triumph? lol
no, i mean why dont you just have more of the colors you have in your deck for scry lands?
Why do you have the R/G temple?
I like it, it's my kind of deck. There's still things I would do differently in it and I'm not a fan of counting on combos in EDH, but it's cool. Here's a deck I made that's pretty similar, idk if there's anything that might spark and idea or help you out with something.http://www.mtgvault.com/tomj598/decks/edh-mill/
