The more I see and test this deck the better Tooth and Nail becomes as I only have 3 creatures not worth getting. I am working on a few land ideas in the deck (such as the destruction lands) and even maybe a terrain generator once my commander is out. As for Worldly Tutor, with the mana I hope to have and the speed of the deck I would rather just play Green Sun Zenith and put it straight into play rather than on top. Plus Green Sun shuffles back so I can keep re-using it. The plus to Worldly however would be picking a Multikicker creature and knowing I'll draw it next.

I am a fool.
Thank you so much, but I can't take credit for this the tumblr link I posted gave me the greater part of the deck design.
I thought about all of those especially Liege. As I played through scars and beyond I tried 5-6 decks using him and never EVER got him to be useful enough to overwrite the danger aspect. The only problem I have with Tooth and Nail is the amount of multikickers to power house ratio I have. Some of my best spells will need multikicked which I can't do off Tooth and Nail. Exploration seemed like a better pick to me and both it and Burgeoning where sitting in my head as replacement cards to something I find doesn't work for me. Thanks so much for the comment.
I absolutely love Nekusar in EDH as soon as he was spoiled I started my decklist. I have been heavily working on it for a local Commander league and have been taking a good hard look at other Nekusars on this site. Yours is BY FAR the most fun looking and actually shares a good lot of cards between the two. If I could get your opinion on my deck It would be GREATLY appreciated. Love your stuff.http://www.mtgvault.com/toastyknickers/decks/nekusar-edh/
Thank you for posting that. I had honestly never heard the rulings for the gods themselves I just knew that they counted for the colors.
Hybrid cost mana (in this case lets use Shred Freak) will add 2 Black AND 2 Red to devotion. This means that with just a Shred Freak and Mogis his Devotion to Red/Black is 6.
I love the idea behind this deck, great idea. With all the ramp you have at your disposal have you looked into putting flash into the deck? Something like Shimmer Myr would be my suggestion. What could be taken out is really your choice but I would suggest 1 Myr Welder and 1 Semblance Anvil. The flash lets your door hit on your opponents end and win on your upkeep. Thus causing rage for days.Just a thought.
I love seeing this deck reach front page. Great looking deck.I started building a Varolz EDH as soon as he was spoiled. Even placed top 5 in a local EDH tournament. Check out my version here http://www.mtgvault.com/toastyknickers/decks/varolz-the-scar-striped-edh/
Sacrifice is unaffected by regeneration. Because regeneration says the next time it would be "destroyed."I suggest a couple cards like Bringer of the White Dawn, Scarecrone, or Second Sunrise.
With Primetime, Wurmcoil, and even Elesh wouldn't running a play set of Mosswort Bridge be better than 4 Windbrisk? You have a total of 5 white creatures in the whole deck, but with Elesh pumping your mana chumps and a couple big fatties Mosswort would go off a lot more often. I would suggest flipping the numbers on those two lands.
I love these suggestions. A few of them are REALLY making me think about moving stuff around. Is there anything that you would take out? Cards that you don't think fit or work in the deck?
Did those changes last night. Also ended up dropping Grave Titan for the Ring. He never really pulled his weight other than being a deathtouch token drop, but by the time I got to him he just became a powerful blocker.
I'll have to agree with you on Death's Presence and Mimic Vat. The few times I have played them they ended up failing me in the long run. Spawnwrithe was just added as a passing thought of "i wonder if scavenging onto him so he slaps you and drops a token is worth it" So far, no.Skullbriar however works SO well in this deck. Not as the general but as a small drop that keeps his counters. If I scavenge a few creatures onto him or even one big one, if he is destroyed I don't lose those counters. I just re-scavenge off of hm for b/g.Krosian grip is sitting on top of the deck RIGHT now just waiting for its eventual place.I have never personally been a fan of fauna shaman, but looking at how the deck has been playing she might not be a bad choice. I see myself holding big cost cards early for some reason, throwing them away for what I could use might not be a bad choice. Especially with the little bit of recursion I do have in the deck.I had not honestly thought of Ring of Kalonia actually, trample is something I could desperately use more of actually. More than once trample has been the deciding factor between a win or a loss.Abrupt Decay is sitting with the deck waiting for its spot as well.Triumph would make me the biggest threat in every match, there is almost an unspoken rule of infect must always lose.Increasing Savagery has been suggested multiple times by my circle and I've really thought about it but I just couldn't see spending that much mana for counters in this deck. I need a playset of Worldly Tutors! They would help in so many of my decks. Thanks so much for your input. I can see myself tweaking this a little bit more this weekend.
Thanks for the tip. Because you seem very knowledgeable about EDH could you take a look at my Varolz EDH? It is the deck I'm working hardest on currently for the next local league. Any ideas or things you think I'm missing would be a great help.
An EDH league I play in has banned "infinite" combos to where if you were to go infinite you can only use the combo two times. This however does sound like it could help a whole lot even without combos. It would also hurt the aggro players from swinging in a big general damage punch.
I like Remember the Fallen, I am also a fan of Path and Swords. I threw this together without even thinking about the removal side of white. Oblation is an iffy card for me because around me everybody is playing blue counter. When you are giving them cards to draw, you are losing.I was hoping to find something that fit into the deck that worked towards Enchantment removal because that is another giant thing around me. I have not however seen anybody running Stony Silence (so don't tell them)
I like that idea actually. It would give me just one more win condition. Plus keeping the +1/+1 counters safer on a non creature land will be pretty funny.
Got a little play testing in tonight. My win condition came out to be a field lock of sac engines and Pact and Artist to win. Having Sheoldred helped keep Artist alive.
I could see that. I'll be taking my deck to a local EDH league, and that will definitely be a card I keep in mind if I see that I think I could handle it.
