a Retry at my old Kiln Distortion deck, with additions to it with the new M11 cards coming out.

---Creatures---
The Core creatures here are Kiln Fiends. Kiln Fiend gets super powerful from your cheap little spells while. Goblin Guide is there for a power 1 mana cost creature drop. Plated Geopede is there to help put the pressure on, being a 5/5 on turn 3 if you play a fetch land. Another "Enchanted" Creature is Wind Zendikon. It's a 2/2 flyer that uses 1 land as a body. It's just awesome for this deck, lets you attack with a 2/2 flyer on turn 2 for only 1 blue mana.

---Land---
Basically, you keep it about 20 lands if you want to keep the quickness, 22 for Standard, and 24 for longer games. I'm at 23 for balance. A few fetchlands for mana balance + landfall for Plated Geopede.


---Spells---
You got your standard burn spells, Lightning Bolt for player damage and Flame Slash side boarded for walls. Combustion is a 5 damage spell that cant be countered or prevented, only targetable towards White or Blue creatures though, so sideboard. Staggershock does 4 damage in 2 turns, it's rebound ability really helps pump Kiln. Like a super forked bolt. Finally in the red, Fling is can be a real quick kill, if done right. Pump your Kiln Fiend up to 8/2 or 11/2, then swing to hit, then cast fling to buff it more, and sac it to finish off. Mana Leak - basically, this deck should never get past turn 5. That's why Spell Pierce is here, to be an excellent low cost counter, helping protect my Kiln Fiends. Most of the time, they wont have an additional 3 mana to stop the counter. Distortion Strike is the very idea of the deck, use it on Kiln Fiend to make it a 5/2 unblockable for 2 turns, or put on a Plated Geopede, then use Scalding Tarn to hit for 6. Preordain is there to help plan out your moves and have slight card advantage. It's like a super ponder, it has scry 2 (look at top 2 cards, put them on top or bottom in any order) then draw a card.

---Sideboard---
Into the Roil - Bounce Planeswalkers
Flame Slash - Burn down bigger dudes
Combustion - Red's "kill target baneslayer" spell, very useful.
Leyline of Punishment - Once it hits the field (on turn 0 if you open with it), it stops lifegain in it's tracks, also makes preventing damage impossible. Just completely dominates Kor Firewalker.

Perfect Play
Turn 1 - Island, Wind Zendikon
Turn 2 - Mountain, Kiln Fiend
Turn 3 - Mountain, Distortion Strike, swing for 5 (15) (keep mana untapped, just in case you need Mana Leak)
Turn 4 - Mountain, Rebound Distortion Strike, Cast 2x Lightning Bolt (9), attack for 11 (If they try to destroy him, either cast Mana Leak or Fling)

good deck but it will pretty much fail without kiln fiend on turn 2/3/4 haha
