Deck Description

a Multicolored deck of Black/Red, meant to keep your opponent's field empty with overpowered creatures, armed with deathtouch.

Combos -
1. Jund Hackblade and Grixis Grimblade
Hackblade gets +1/+1 and haste if there's another multicolor on the field, while Grixis Grimblade gets +1/+1 and Deathtouch if there's another multicolor on the field. These 2 together each make 3/2 creatures with either haste or deathtouch for only 2 mana each.

2. Lightning Reaver + Whispersilk Cloak
When Lightning does combat damage to the player, put a charge counter on him. At end of your turn, do damage to player for each # of counters. This + Unblockable + Shroud, can kill VERY quickly.

Solos -
1. Ashenmoor Liege
He is the creature that super-charges each of your creatures by +2/+2 and hurts the enemy if they try to eliminate him. HE IS IMPORTANT.

2. Malfegor
Seriously Bad-Ass Dragon. Even though he eliminates your hand, he also eliminates the opponent's field, leaving them open to a 6/6 Flyer. Next turn is gonna hurt....

Artifacts + Enchantment Equips -
1. Quietus Spike - give deathtouch to equipped creature + when creature does combat damage to player, player loses half his/her life points, rounded up. Best used on Lightning Reaver or Jund Hackblade.

2. Whispersilk Cloak - gives unblockable and shroud to target creature. Best used on Lightning Reaver or Ashenmoor Liege.

3. Fist of the Demigod - gives +1/+1 and wither if they're black, and +1/+1 and firststrike if they're red. So, for any creature here, gives them +2/+2, Wither, and First Strike. Best used on Grixis Grimblade

Spells -
1. Terminate. Really simple, use to eliminate nasty enemy mosters.

2. Blightning - provides slight hand control, does 3 damage to player and makes them discard 2 cards.

On www.cardkingdom.com , the deck by itself costs around 100 dollars. To reduce this cost, substitute Dragonskull Summit with 2 Mountain/2 Swamps, since each Dragonskull Summit is 11 bucks.

Final cost for deck by itself = 60 bucks
+ Sideboard = 73 bucks.

Deck discussion for B/R Field Control

lol nice! 8/10 from me. the one thing I would suggest is that you add earthquake. it's great for field clearing while Malfegor is out. check out my entry for the chalenge. it's mostly mana sources based around worldgorger dragon + apocalypse

The Core of this deck, the foot soldiers, are all 1/1, 2/2 and 3/2. Earthquake would ruin me, if I dont have any Ashenmoor Lieges on the field.

Blood Cultist with Deathtouch + Goblinsharpshooter with his Deathtouch are only 1/1 or 2/2, and unless I build counters on Blood, Earthquake will kill everything on the field, even my guys.

which is why you use it when Malfegor is out.

Malfegor already eliminates most of their monsters, in revelance to how many cards I discard. Using earthquake when their monster field is almost barren as it is would only hurt my guys. I already have Blood Cultist, Goblin Sharpshooter, and Terminate for controlling enemy monsters, dont need Earthquake.

well at least sideboard it in case they're playing discard and they don't have to sac anything. for this theme, hows about adding Thraximundar?

That would make me have to add blue mana. Not doing it, a 3rd color would over complicate.
