I know what you mean about the big cards one of my favorites is Kalitas and I'm still kinda new to magic myself.

Maybe try and reduce the amount of cards that cost a lot or try and add more things like dark ritual. Also if you could comment on my vamp deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=170653. I would greatly like any comment or criticism.
