Deck Description

Want a non-traditional way to win magic? Mill...except this isn't your typical mill deck where you mill out your opponents. THEY will mill THEMSELVES out mwa ha ha!
This deck relies on Stasis, Tangle Wire, and Chronatog.
In short, once you hit your combo, when it's their turn, they cannot untap ANYTHING (Stasis) - lands, artifacts, creatures, etc. Then they are forced tap everything that's untapped (Tangle Wire). This basically prevents them from doing anything (attacking with creatures, playing spells, etc.). Now it's your turn...oh wait. No it's not. Use Chronatog and skip your turn. Now it's their turn again...and again, they cannot do ANYTHING. The second they put down a land, BAM! The next turn they will have to tap it. Keep skipping your turn and they will mill themselves out! Good job!

How to Play

I already explained Stasis, Tangle Wire, and Chronatog.

Drift of Phantasms' transmute ability lets you fetch Tangle Wire (or you can get Guard Gomazoa and Propaganda for defense). Preordain/Impulse also help search for cards.
Paradox Haze your opponent so they have to tap twice as many permanents with Tangle Wire (8) in case they have board presence.
Use Counterspell and Boomerang for control.
You can replace Mishra's Factory for Islands if you are low on cash. You will need to stall for time with this deck so you can hit off your combo. Mishra's Factory is only in there for further protection.

Don't have all 3 pieces of the combo? You can still use a Stasis or a Tangle Wire to slow them down. Remember, you can always Boomerang them back to your hand at the end of your opponent's turn so you don't have to suffer the negative effects of the tapping.

Really cool deck. It uses a combo and cards that i've never seen before. +1 from me. idk how well it actually works but i can only imagine it's a fun one to pull out for tabletop magic. I'm primarily a standard player, and i absolutely hate using blue. it's just not my style. So as far as advice goes i can't really help. I do like this deck though, keep up the good work man!

Thanks a lot for the compliment! At first this was a slow deck, but I tried to make it faster with a lower mana curve. It works fairly well, even better in multiplayer! I've only used it in legacy/vintage casual tournaments though. Haven't used it in the larger, sanctioned tournaments cause those are all modern, and half the cards aren't modern legal hahahaha =P
