Unlike most mill decks which take lots of spells and creatures that force you to mill cards a little at a time, this 2-card combo deck mills your opponent out instantly for the win!Once your opponent sees the 2 cards out there, I'm sure they will realize that you will bomb their entire library/graveyard instantly. As the name of this deck says, "Nuclear Launch Detected..."
The 2 card combo works on Rest in Peace (so nothing will hit the graveyard - they will be exiled instead) plus Helm of Obedience (pay 1 mana and tap, but thanks to Rest in Peace, none of their cards will ever hit the graveyard so they will mill themselves out instantly).Wall of Omens helps for card draw and protection while Wrath of God slows down your opponents.Preordain/Ponder/Impulse help look for your 2 cards, as does Enlightened Tutor (for either card), Fabricate (for the helm), and Muddle the Mixture's "transmute" ability (for Rest in Peace).Muddle the Mixture can also be used as a counterspell. That and Mana Leak help slow down your opponents or protect your 2 card combo along with Apostle's Blessing.Sorry if the price is a little high, but heck, if you got the money, switch out the mainboard cards with the sideboard cards, which are much more expensive but certainly worth it.

So whatcha guys think about this? I know there is Leyline of the Void that pretty much does the same combo, but I feel that blue is better for control/protection of your combo as opposed to black.

Always wanted to make a Helm/Void combo deck WITH Painter's Servant/Grindstone. Double the combos, double the fun :)And yes, agreed, blue better protects your combo. Since it is an infinite win that goes off, maybe consider Pact of Negation, free counterspell since you are going to win the turn you play it.
Hey great idea! Free counterspell with the Pact. And by then, I will probably have 5 mana just in case. Thanks for the tip!
This looks like a fun deck to play with and I see how the combo works it is kind of hard to catch when you first look at helm of obedience but after looking at a couple of times I then realized how it works.Overall, well built!Keep up the good work!
