Deck Description

This one has been sitting in my pile of constructed for some time now, and I thought I'd give it another whirl. Suggestions on updates/upgrades would be great!

The idea of course is sacrifice engines to the Lord and Liege of the Pit, with some other engines tossed in for the fun of it. Dimir House guard to help tudor for the Breeding Pit, and the carrion feeder, Lord/Liege of the Pit work well with Nether Traitor as a recycling creature if you can't get the breeding pit out.

The fatal blow seems to work well if your opponent is dumb enough to block a little thrull with his dragon.

I had one deck similar to this when I first started playing Magic and when Fallen Empires came out. Breeding Pit/ Lord of the Pit = fun times.

Deck discussion for The Pits

I would kind of take out a couple of Liege or Pits or Lord of Pits. Probably Lord of Pit. It's kinda really hard to cast out Lord of Pits and you can probably use more useful creatures than a 7/7 black trample user.

You can maybe use Phage the Untouchable, Avatar of Woe, or pretty much more useful black creatures than Lord of the Pit.

I would take out the Fatal Blows and add in different removal. Maybe Innocent Blood?

And increase your land count to 24

And also try to keep your deck to 60 cards. It's just best to because lower deck means you have a greater likely chance of drawing a card you need.
