This Azorius Control (previously Standard) deck was popular around the time when "Return to Ravnica" was out.This deck behaves like a typical control deck in that it:- plays a land and then passes the turn- counters spells in the opponents turn- plays both spot removal and board wipes- Exiles threats / removes attackers during combat...- And then at some point, stabilises and makes a massive comback with lots of card draw and big threats that the opponent can't deal with.- Sphinx's revelation helps you get a load of life back, as well as draw a fresh new hand of cards!The late game finishers are:- Elspeth, Sun's Champion (make an army of 1/1's that later become 3/3 flyers)- Aetherling (unblockable, evasive, 8/1 for the win!)- Celestial ColonnadeReshuffle your graveyard into your deck with the "Elixir of Immortality" to stop Mill Win conditions and to restock your library with utility cards.
