i play delver because with so many spells it flips easily and gives me a more aggresive start than usually
sorin's vengeance is great with sorin markov but as i usually don't side it in i'll probably cut it

p.s : i think it's more of a tempo deck not control ( if you have the proper hand it allows great starts )

i just tested this on cockatrice and i LOVED IT !!!
turn 1 : expedition map ( after one of urza 's lands )
turn 2 : another urza land , crack expedition map
turn 3 : wurmcoil engine after the last urza land
turn 4 : all is dust and attacking with my engine

from there on i had some more control and he barely touched me ( an affinity deck ! )

your deck seems nice if you would have something more to tutor up to swiftfoot boots and lightning greaves would be nice because you need to protect your commander

i was trying to keep this budget that's why i didn't put those in the deck
i might try to do a non-budget version of this deck

From what i saw you should try adding blue for huge proliferating such as thrumming bird and tezzeret's gambit and some hard to destroy creatures like neurok invisamancer and invisible stalker

nice deck ... seems really close to one of my decks
you should remove the 2 bonds of faith ( put them in your sideboard ) unless your local metagame has very few humans
otherwise it seems nice

actually it on turn 3 is like this

turn 3 : cast another borderpost ( for its alternate cost ) , replay the land and then you can do the combo

you should remove plague myr it dies as soon as enters so it doesn't do much good for you ( unless you have a hand of the preators )
replace it with an extra skithiryx and an extra phyrexian vatmother ( that is awesome with heartless summoning)
