Trying my hand at a Pauper deck. Figured white fliers was the best place to start, but as I built this deck, a story developed in my head that made all of these cards make sense. [see the How To Play for that bit!]Tried to keep things low cost on the creature side, and I'm still waffling on the Squadron Hawks, as I love their ability to call in the rest from the library.Non-basic lands simply because of the life gain, Recumbent Bliss instead of O-ring due to the life gain potential, and Bar the Door for fast blocker-buffing. Any advice would be appreciated!
"You have been tasked with transporting a caravan down the Salt Roads to a nearby trade post. I don't care who you employ or what you have to do, but these goods and the money they will fetch us is our lifeblood. Without it, we will surely lose many, and we can't have that. Now go, time is wasting."Kadri strolled out of his tent and straight up to one of his advisors, who was already waiting to give his report. Without a word of encouragement, when Kadri met his eyes, he spoke."Most of our defense is in the skies above our caravan. We have several griffin troops as well as a handful of hawks to report to us from their higher vantage point. Some Kor knights have also been employed to provide a more menacing flying force to direct our airborne troops more precisely."On foot, we have our finest knights riding our most trusted battle-hardened steeds. They are seasoned well, and will only grow more determined the closer we get to the outpost. And lastly, we have our Sun Guides, ready to provide us with reconnaissance as well as lending their skills as healers to our cause, should our caravan be ambushed. They aren't extremely fond of our kind, but they've been paid for the task and will see it through to the end."And then, there's the Wizard. Who knows what other tricks he holds up his sleeves..."Kadri smiled as he surveyed his caravan. No doubt, this would be a successful trip.
