What are your thoughts on Keening Stone? It would work well with the Traumatize mid-game.
If you try blue and black mill you can add mind funeral and other I'll get back with more good mill cards
is it bad deck ?
You could also add Call to Mind and Nemesis of Reason if you can find more combos that would be awesome, this is a good start on a mill deck.
if you want to make a good mill deck, your pretty much have to add black. check out mine.
With as much draw as you have, it looks like you're trying to trigger mainly off Hedron Crab (with drawing and dropping land) and Jace's Erasure. However, with that much draw, you're also giving your opponent all their answers, too, and likely faster than your can mill them away. Get some protection in there, either bounce or a playset of low-cost counterspells. I agree that adding black for Mind Funeral, maybe Glimpse of the Unthinkable (if you're going Legacy/Casual and can get them) and a couple solid mill creatures is advisable, at least if you plan on going Extended with this, but if it's just casual than you're find keeping it mono-blue, IMO. Scalaplexis is a good creature to throw in there for defense and mill and, thanks to the Morningtide block, there are TONS or Merfolk that are good mill bodies. My casual/tribal mill deck runs the Drowner Initiate/Memory Sluice combo. 2 Initiates + 1 Sluice = 12 cards for 3 mana, whoo-hoo! XD As another note, Another late game body is Oona, Queen of the Fae, BUT, like most of the creatures you'll find for these decks, she dies to just about any kill spell if you're not running enough control/early mill. ....Damn, I need to go list my current mill deck, now. Anyway, I would down the Traumatize to three or even two and maybe get ride of the Mystic Speculations completely, exchanging them for some control or some more early mill. Maybe another two Erasure's, if you want to keep that route. OH! Lastly, Keening Stone/Traum: I like it, neat combo, SLOW AS HELL.
i wouldnt run 4x traumatixe. its only good for the first 2, and even after the first one it kinda sucks.. run 2 instead of 4. i would also run 4x erasures to maximiza mill per card. memory erosion is also a nice addition, with 4 on the field thats 8 cards per spell they play, and 4 cards per card you draw. Definately run forced fruition. this is a late game total mill. if you splash red, you can make a Runeflare Trap combo. A definate addin would be some mana myr for acceleration, and run black. there are plenty of black/blue mill cards. Maybe add keening stone or Grind Clock?
Thanks for advices
These other guys were right about blue/black offering a lot of combos. However, if you wanted to keep it mono blue, concentrate on drawing cards for yourself to take full advantage of the crabs landfall. Rhystic Study is one of my favorites. Just know that your opponent will eventually be able to play something. So something in the form of capsize, with buyback, should help.
something else to maximize it is to draw, and have Walking Atlas on the field to plop down multiple lands a turn and accelerate millage.
yes,I want to have mono blue deck
lol, i like it..... of course it can be improved, dont listen to those guys add black..... sure black blue has some good mill cards but iff u had black u have another conceirn if u can drop the mana u want cause most of those cards require black and "" blue not black or blue.......... i would put 4 jaces erasure instead of 2, i would take out mistic especulation because there are alot of creatures that scry and they can block, i agree with the part that take out the cards that make u both draw cards ... i get u, the more cards he buys the less he has in the deck xD but that way if he draws something realy good ur toast xD This is just to help you if u dont like it then keep its format how it is many people say to use millstone, i have a deck like this and after i spent all my spells i never have mana left so millstone would just be there...... Besides put in some counterspells ou/and mana leaks for those kind of situations take out 2 traumatizes, its realy good but the later the game is the less its going to be its effects and after u used 1 he has like max around 40 cards he only has 20 cards left in the deck, so u have cards that with less mana make him discards the same amount of cards
it sucks_! wow its awesome
