Deck Description

This is the first Magic deck I've ever built with the help of a friend who knows quite a bit about the game already. It was purely a poison counter deck focusing on small attacks and proliferates until I decided to add in the lords of extinction.

How to Play

Basically the way you play it is to start out defensive with weak creatures that can protect your life points by sacrificing themselves during enemy attacks. If you can get a poison counter applied here or there early game all the better, especially if they are applied and proliferated by defending attacks with the core prowlers. If you get a chance to take a good shot at not only your enemy, but your own creatures with Black Sun's Zenith, take it to send more cards to both graveyards. This sets you up for the next step. Eventually the hope is you get some lords of extinction out on the field equiped with darksteel plate and phyresis. All those cards you sent to the graveyard plus anyones that were sent on your opponent's side will buff them up to a very high level. Combine that with the enchant and equipment, they are unstoppable. Chances are, by the time you get them out they will have at least 10/10 and be able to one shot an opponent with poison counters, or take out any creature they should choose to block with.

I'm very new to the game, so any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.

the deck looks sound..... I would add Overgrown Tombs and Woodland Cemetery.... and maybe replace Phyresis with Rancor......... I ran something similar for a while and I like a few Gravepurge's in stead of Darksteel plate......... but thats just me.
