It could be, "ignorant", I suppose, but supposedly I "get off" on telling you to play magic as you wish, hm... To me it sounds like you are "pretending you know something about me based on two or three" posts, and apparently I asked a stupid question... you were hostile far before I was.Try not to be rude when somebody has an opinion regarding Magic cards that opposes your own. That should prevent some problems.

This is looking really solid so far man, if you are looking for more small creatures, I think Grixis Grimblade would be nice, and nested ghoul might be cool too :)
Sure! Qasali Battlemage would make a fine addition... 2 Mana, 2/2, Exalted, and pay 1 mana to sacrifice him and destroy target artifact or enchantment.
I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding, but you should also know that when I said "play your own" I was simply saying "it's your game, play it however you want". I was trying to make it clear that my I was only trying to give my own opinion on Aetherling, and I was not trying to tell anybody how to play their own game.
"NinjaStyle612" (Cute Name) Sorry if my own opinions and advice to "addg" offend you, but you haven't said a single constructive thing in this thread. This thread is for giving the user who posted this deck opinions and advice, which is exactly what I am doing, and all you have done in your posts is disagree with mine, in an angry and rude fashion.I'm just giving my own opinions, I don't "get off on telling you to play your own", YOU get off on making yourself feel adequate by telling other people their opinions are wrong, over the internet. You're being a brat, Grow up.As for cheap permanents, in my opinion, if he doesn't have cheap defensive drops (not "Aggro" drops), and he can't play a thing until turn 3, he won't survive to play Cyclonic Rift or Aetherize.Just my opinion an advice to Addg, not intended as fueling for another argument.
Yes not only up the mana count, but I think you'd really be doing yourself good if you'd either throw some acceleration or more cheap permanents in their, because this is looking slow, my friend.
A neat deck, I enjoy the concept. But, it seems very slow and mana costly. Not only is there no mana acceleration, but 18 land is insane dude!
If you wanted to head a more offensive direction, rather than drawing so many cards, I would take a look at Tamiyo, the moon sage, or Gideon Jura. Gideon's Lawkeeper and Gideon's Avenger. Wall of Frost. Never underestimate the value of keeping your opponent's creatures tapped. Sleep would be a brutal 4-mana finisher, and Kraken hatchling is perfect cheap defense.I think Isperia is the weak link, she's A LOT of mana, and she lacks the qualities of a finisher, and you don't want a card that costs 6 mana in this deck in less it's a damn finisher! lol.And if you're planning on drawing cards, go for 4 RELIQUARY TOWERs, grab some unblockable creatures like metathran soldier or cephalid pathmage, and use supreme authority. THAT WOULD BE PERFECT!
I agree, azorius guild mage would be a RAD 2-mana drop in this deck.
Well if it has worked for you, that's great, play your own deck man. It just seems like a very difficult and costly card to work with, especially running a two color, deck. It's a great finisher, but I think the deck lacks cheap permanents.
This is badass. I play a similar deck that specifies humans rather than soldiers. Elspeth, Knight Errant would be devastating to opponents in this deck, I strongly recommend it.
How do you plan to win the game?... You have 5 creatures that can deal damage.
Right on, how has this deck worked?
Yes, would be a bit difficult to do black-white tokens standard legal without doing essentially Orzhov...
Not a bad start, I would consider Precinct Captain, Hero of Bladehold, Teysa Envoy of Ghosts, Teysa Orzhov Scion, and possibly replacing Elspeth Tirel with Elspeth, Knight-Errant.
Some of these may be useful:Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts Obzedat, Ghost CouncilDoomed TravelerDearly departedGhost Council of OrzhovaTeysa, Orzhov ScionPrecinct CaptainElspeth, Knight-Errant
I see what you're trying to achieve with this deck, but I think your balance is far off with not enough creatures and too many other spells that don't really contribute to the goal of the deck, the deck isn't very focused. 2/2 drakes even with Talrand are not very powerful unless they're in greater numbers, Talrand and Talrund's invocation both have a fairly steep casting cost for a 3-color deck. My advice would be to keep Sorin, Midnight Haunting, Intangible Virtue, and Lingering Souls; ditch blue completely, and invest in doomed travelers, Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts, and possibly Elspeth, Knight-Errant. Flying tokens is always a decent idea, but I think Orzhov spirits is a better plan than blue drakes.
I like the deck, a tight concept, but it doesn't seem like there's enough grit or power, it seems as if the core of the deck that actually allows you to win the game is very passive and slow at the moment. And I agree that it's definitely missing some doomed travelers. Also if I could offer some advice, I don't think reusing Geralf's Messenger's effect is at all worth 4 restoration angels and 4 cloudshifts. And also, Orzhov's maze runner Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts, would be excellent for this deck, she has protection from creatures, and whenever a creature deals damage to you, she destroys the creature and you put a 1/1 spirit on the battlefield (more creatures to sac).
