Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Draw cards, negate cards, and long, boring games. If you like any one of those things then try a new version of control. Also, want to save money instead of trying to afford those cryptic commands and spell snares? This deck fits you too!Although it is true that you might want to beat your opponent in one turn and hate games that go on forever. Change the deck so that you splice roar onto enough arcane spells in one turn to win(look at how to play to see what I mean). In conclusion, this deck is for every player except those who like to interact with your opponents.
Stall. That's it really. Just try and get a tainted remedy onto the field as soon as possible then start playing your arcane spells(to stall) and splice roar onto them. Since the splice cost makes your opponent gain five life they now lose five life from remedy(the actual effect of roar is useless). After you splice roar onto your arcane spells enough times, you will win by dropping your opponents life to zero.

Interesting concept. I'm gonna play with this a bit to see what I can come up with.

Thanks. Also, if you don' mind, please report back to me what your test results and your ideas are. Once again, thanks man.
So this is what I've just created, a modern combo burn deck that can go off on turn 3. http://www.mtgvault.com/maniacalmaniac/decks/arcane-denial-of-life/
I messed up. I didn't read Rain of Gore properly, it can't win on turn three but I still think it's very effective. If You get Tainted Remedy out.
I love the splice mechanic...I have a tribal spirit deck based almost entirely in the Kamigawa block that abuses it horribly, & that, my friend, is a real good time. :D You come up w/ some pretty cool concepts, keep up the good work! (Already left a +1 a day or so ago.) :)
Thanks man. Hopefully you keep following me due to your friendliness. Anyways I came in when Gatecrash just released so I'm not to sure what happened during the kamigawa block but it sounds interesting so if you don't mind please tell me what made it so fun for you. Once again I can't thank you enough.
I've been in & out of Magic for a while, & wasn't actually active w/ it during Kamigawa, either, but there was a point where I had an inkling to do a tribal spirit deck, which is when I discovered it. The spirits in Kamigawa have crazy cool abilities, many of which trigger whenever you play a spirit or arcane card, so w/ splice, it's just silly. To keep the deck interesting, I built it singleton-style...it's a KT deck anyway, & there was enough synergy between the creatures & spells to allow for being able to do a lot w/ it, w/o it always having to be the same, predictable thing. It's been a minute since I've played it (though after this conversation, that may change this W/E :D), but if I recall correctly, the only cards in it that aren't Kamigawa are a copy of Privileged Position & most of the lands. It's the only block-specific deck I've ever built, as I would normally never go that route...but in this case, the potential for fun shenanigans just sucked me right in. :)
I see. Thanks for telling me man I really need to get you back after you follow and almost tutor me about this game. Once again thanks I really do owe it to you.
And you, sir, are far too gracious. ;)
Ahaha, thanks.
Here's my take on a non budget version: http://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/tainted-arcane-roar/
