Got a rat deck, wanted to add ninjas, heres the result. My sideboard represents shit I thought about but have gotten rid of. This is a casual play deck. Basically got rid of the rat combo of my previous deck at this point, it was too much to fit into a deck and make it still excel at what it needed to. I could add it but then it would be KINDA good at 2 things, whereas now I can have it be REALLY good at one thing.
A few of the cards in here have tricks when it comes to using ninjutsu. For instance, since ninjutsu is an ability and not a spell you can cast a ninja without killing Illusory Demon. Also, when giving Higure first strike you can actually search for a ninja to swap himself out for since he would deal combat damage before normal combat. Also Faerie imposters give you an unsummon and a 2/1 flying to have a ninja phase out and then back in to sneak in combat damage. Overall theme is making you draw a bunch of cards and set up combos within your hand, while also slowing your opponent down by contaminating his land and returning his creatures to his hand as well as making them discard cards from their hand.

This is pretty awesome! I've never seen any Ninja cards before. How does it fare? Weaknesses?

This is definitely a work in progress. I currently have a rat deck, and am looking to complicate it by adding a ninja aspect to it. Naturally I wanted rat ninjas, which I think would pair excellently with Ogre Slumlord, the main card in my rat deck. Considering the mentality of deathtouch is that you want to atleast be able to kill a deathtouch creature if you're going to sacrifice a creature blocking it, so most the time deathtouch will go unblocked, allowing for the ninjutsu effect to happen.
Wouldn't fare well against aggro decks or lifegain even. But in particular the ninjutsu effect is a hard one to counter, considering it isn't a spell, so it can't be countered like one.
Nice. I have a rat deck listed on mine you can check out. Works well!
