Thanks for the suggestions, replaced my pongifys with Fire // Ice, might replace Ghastlord. Don't really think I need haste for either of Eater or Ghastlord though, it would be nice, but there's not enough room or justification for adding them in my opinion.
Literally threw her in last minute, as well as the other faeries. This deck is for a friend so I put the number down to 2 because he's on a budget.
Look at Imperious Perfect. It's like alot better, and he has doubling seasons and parallel lives.
hi james. ;)
More kindled fury's, some searing spears.
Pretty cool deck, have you considered trying to add more Skirsdag priests as well as a combo of Desciple of Grisleband and Wall of Bone combo? This is a pretty heavily themed rat deck, but it almost relies too much on Ogre Slumlord. Oh yeah, and I'd replace Dead Weight with Stab Wound, but that's just preference. It forces them to lose 2 life each upkeep as long as you sit there and don't attack, or ofcourse attack with unblockables per gruesome deformity or whispersilk cloak on a beefy pack rat. Basically you can force your opponent into trying to kill a creature marked with a stab wound, which works in your favor when you have the morbid effect of Skirsdag Priest and Ogre Slumlord to account for. To make room for any cards I'd drop the number on Gutter Skulks or Drainpipe Vermin (Ogre Slumlord is useful enough in beefing up Pack Rat) Also, I think your oddball is probably creepy doll, but to each his own. But yeah, I'd add more Skirsdag and just lose some rats in favor of cards that work better with death triggers, seeing as how great Slumlord is. Maybe 2 Crypt Ghasts would be good, double your mana pool as well as give you extort to work with when you have spare mana (which will happen a bit I assume with so many low cost cards) Also probably don't need doom blade or victim of the night, but that's debatable.
Wouldn't fare well against aggro decks or lifegain even. But in particular the ninjutsu effect is a hard one to counter, considering it isn't a spell, so it can't be countered like one.
This is definitely a work in progress. I currently have a rat deck, and am looking to complicate it by adding a ninja aspect to it. Naturally I wanted rat ninjas, which I think would pair excellently with Ogre Slumlord, the main card in my rat deck. Considering the mentality of deathtouch is that you want to atleast be able to kill a deathtouch creature if you're going to sacrifice a creature blocking it, so most the time deathtouch will go unblocked, allowing for the ninjutsu effect to happen.
