Deck Description

Same idea as all reanimates, mill yourself and play big bad things from the graveyard.

Ideally you would take out Avatar of Woe, Pest. Demon, Balthor and Reya and replace with 4x It That Betrays, and 4x Artisan of Kozilek. The reason the other creatures are in the deck is I find games are more challenging when you have less eldrazi. the way I have it constructed is for more fun games.

If you draw 2 swamps Raven's Crime Exhume and any eldrazi card you should win in 3 turns. Elect to go first if you can. If you go second and draw no lands, its not necessarily a bad thing, just discard any creatures and wait for an exhume.

If you choose to play without eldrazi, add the Platinum Angels, Thraximundar, and if you want to draw the game out Abyssal Persecutor, but know that you will have to kill the Persecutor with the Avatar of Woe to eventually win. Buried Alive to stack your graveyard, then Cast and exile Balthor and watch your oppents face when ALL creatures in your graveyard drop into battle. Fun deck to play, can be made more competitive for more serious players. The basic mechanic cards for this deck will run you about $35 retail. Hope you enjoy!!

Deck discussion for Re-Animate

Necromancy is one cheaper than zombify and does the same thing, that might work better. Also animate dead is good too, for two mana you can do nearly the same thing as zombify, but I love reya dawnbringer in this deck!

Yeah not gonna lie I had never heard of Necromancy until I saw it on your deck list, definitely better than zombify, ill check into getting it. Zombify is too pricy at 3(S), but thats the card i had lying around when I made this deck

The ability to use it on turn one by far outweighs the life loss.

If you can afford it, I'd throw in entomb, otherwise I'd at least use Buried alive.
