Deck Description

Another attempt at building a standard mill deck revolving around Fraying Sanity.

Suggestions are welcome!

How to Play

The idea is to mill them to death using Fraying Sanity and then controlling the board. Use your counter spells and creatures to keep you alive, board wipe when you need to, and drop Compulsory Rest on anything that is scary (plus if they sac it, they mill). Overwhelming Splendor is for if worst comes to worst.

Attempt to get delirium for Manic Scribe's ability, and it shouldn't be too hard to do, with cycling (don't ever cast Nimble Obstructionist, just use him to counter things) and sacing your deserts for more mill, or when they sac a creature that Compulsory Rest is on.

Deck discussion for The Splendor of (in)Sanity

Cool deck. Normally I dislike blue, but I really like Fraying Sanity. I'm not really sure why you have white in the deck. Seems unnecessary. I get that it's for control, but you have enough deck cycling to get the counter spells you need. Personally I would have two more Disallows, and one more Nimble Obstructionist, and just take out white completely. However, I also get why you would want to keep white - with most of my decks, as soon as I come up with the idea, I already have the colors set, and am very unwilling to change them.

This is actually just the white- blue version of this standard mill deck. Im planning on making a blue-red and a mono- blue version as well ??
