Deck Description

I've had a Midrange Golgari pauper deck in mind for quite some time, the idea being that Young Wolf, Penumbra Spider and Putrid Leech are creatures of such immense utility and value both against aggro and control that there has to be a midrange shell supporting them.

And here we are, staring at one, albeit an unrefined one. The idea here being that you have extremely cost-efficient cards all across the curve, capable of both extremely offensive and defensive play.

How to Play

If you examine the deck you'll find that it really can beat everything, ergo is has the "jund syndrome" no real terrible matchups, no real amazing matchups. Young Wolf alone makes you great against heave control decks, while making your deck good against opposing Young Wolfs.

The ability to become the Monarch, defensive creatures to keep it, and trample to reclaim it all make for great midrange matchups.

Really, your deck is nothing but efficient cards slammed into a cohesive pile.
