Huh, turns out I really don't like running augur in Teachings decks. As of July 2019 it is the case that all relevant creatures either fly (Mulldrifter, Glint Hawk, Kor Skyfisher, Delver) or kill Augur 100% of the time(Everything in Affinity, Seeker of the Way, Angler), turning him into a Revitalize at best. Thus it did not take more than a couple weeks for me to switch out 4 Augurs for a broader suit of removal, a Prohibit, and lovely, lovely Capsize. These changes seem to have improved our Tron and Affinity matchups whilst not really having hindered our deck in the slightest.
The goal is what it's always been; to have games so long that you have to shave your face anew after each round ends. The deck has virtually no proactive cards besides the Talismans. The entire deck, from card draw, through removal, to the win conditions is all made up of 34 reactive cards. With victory being achieved by looping Devious Cover-ups or a dozen casts of Evincar's Justice. The current metagame (July 2019) is slanted heavily towards midrange decks due to the recent printing of Arcum's Astrolabe. Which makes teachings more viable than it's been for a long while. The Stompy matchup is much improved with the addition of Ob Nix's Cruelty. The Tron matchup is bearable now that they have begun running no more than 3 counterspells, with 8 Pyro/Hydro blasts in their sideboard however, it is imperative that you board in all 6 of your SB counterspells. The 3 maindeck talismans combined with 3 Hydroblasts in the sideboard also make the burn matchup bearable. All the aforementioned decks... as well as all other ones actually, will hate you for playing this monstrosity against them, but remember it's not having a counterspell be your wincondition that makes you a monster, it's switching to Tron when it becomes top tier again that does.
