Deck Description

NOTE: I'm building this one to have fun, also i'm using A LOT of the cards i already have.
NOTE: i LOVE Mogis, if you don't run 3 Bloodgift Demon instead.

How to Play

I love jund, and i wanted a new competitive deck so i came up with this. It's a fun, cheaper and an unusual jund midrange built out of the cards i already have (look into the comments).

You try to get a turn 3 Mogis or Xenagos out, after that you will stall or try to zerg your opponent down ASAP.
Mogis is great against control because they will have nothing to sacrifice, Xenagos is ramp, aggression and defense in one card. You also want to +1 once because lightning helix and lightning bolt.

Why Sprouting Thrinax? cause only pte deals with them, and if they exile your Sprouting Thrinax they may not be able to answer Mogis. Thrinax is good against anything, if you don't want him run 4 courser of Kruphix instead.

Deck discussion for [Modern] Jund Midrange

I would cut the mogis's and one xenagos for a playset of thoughtseize, which seems really good in this deck. I would also cut the other two xenagos for liliana of the veil to make this deck even better, other than that i would cut the sylvan caryatids for birds of paradise. Cool deck!

Thx man! but i want to actually make this deck and i don't want to sped way to much money and i alredy have 3 Xenagos, the Reveler 3 Mogis, God of Slaughter, 4 Rootbound Crag and 4 Dragon Broodmother, also mogis is a slow win con, he will do 2-8 damage most games. For the Caryatid i feel like the hexproof and a 0/3 body more than a 0/1 that won't help me till turn 3. For the thoughtseize i was considering it but i don't hink i'll do it cause i don't have the money BUT pleas help me! I think that Burning-Tree Emissary shoud be maindecked as a 4 of but i don't know what to remove. So again pleas consider what i said and pleas tell waht td you think about the Burning-Tree Emissary i just fell like i need it in here. Sorry if there is a thousand mistakes, i was writing on a phone.

I think that the main reason for the Sylvan Caryatid is an ensured turn 3 Xenagos or Mogis, after i make this deck (in progress): http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/modernnaya-tokens/ i'll do this one.

Well, burning-tree emissary u don't get any value off of because u have no other two drops that use that mana except another burning-tree emissary. I would not add that. I'll have to think about cheaper cards that could replace some of these cards. i'll let u know sometime soon

I have 4 Sprouting Thrinax, if not exiled (which will probably happen) he is great, survives boardwipes and stalls aggro.

i checked the forums and some people love Sprouting Thrinax and some are not sure if he would work. But really the only way to get rid of him is with path to exile.
