I remember actually thinking I would build something like this in paper with shock lands instead of duals when I was around 18 years old. Oh how times makes a fool of us all...I really like locks as win conditions, in the past Dovescape was played as well but I think that in today's metagame and in the year of our lord 2024 Karn, the Great Creator -> Mycosynth Lattice is just better. This is really the only place where these enchantments and planeswalkers can see play, and even then I would be hard-pressed to believe this could average out an above 50% winrate.Anyway, the point is to have your humans die, making great things happen when they do so. Much like when you inherit a house after pushing your aunt down the stairs, you get to use Nicol fucking Bolas when you kill a rector.NOTE: The Karn package may well be too much and card draw / removal / disruption would be better in its place.
Get lucky I guess xD Seriously, this will not compete with Frogs, Beanstalks, Painters, Eldrazi, etc. You are playing without a sideboard and with minimal disruption protecting a slow durdly plan. It's like playing Show and Tell but with a brain aneurysm. That said, you can still work magic on the play sometimes with clutch Therapies resulting in unbeatable things happening as early as turn 3. But then, if you want to be doing nigh unbeatable things on turn 3 you should just be reanimating Atraxa or casting Beseech the Mirror.
