Mono Black Pox is, in my opinion not viable anymore. The combo decks are faster and more resilient, aggro leans more on cheating power into play off of high rolls (think Gruul Madness) and control has more ways of surviving what you're doing and drawing their way our while you draw Dark Rituals and useless discard spells.Loam versions relying on Chalice of the Void are likewise dead, there are few decks left that can't beat a Chalice on 1.This leaves us with Loam Pox running Thoughtseize and fast mana in the form of Mox Diamond & Dark Ritual. Thoughtseize is good for obvious reasons while fast mana allows for turn 1 Tourach or Liliana or Thoughtseize + Loam etc. Mox Diamonds are preferred as they stay on the field, allowing us to spend our landrops Wastelanding or doodling with Urza's Saga whose tokens they also pump, and they also enable Life from the Loam in the early game.
The usual Loam Pox deal:27 lands as many of them won't be sticking around for long. All manner of disruption to make sure we don't die.Fast mana so we can play that disruption early enough.Life from the Loam & Urza's saga to pull ahead once both players are low on resources.Orcish Bowmasters may not be as good in the deck as one might hope, but they are a pretty good answer to opposing Orcish Bowmasters, they beat the hell out of blue decks, and they do give the deck a better clock. The main downside of running them is the resulting lower disruption count, fewer Hymns and Thoughtseizes simultaneously resulting in fewer bad topdecks in the lategame and fewer explosive disruptive starts with fast mana in the early game. For now, I believe this to be a worthy tradeoff.
