I KNOW 80$ aint budget but what do I cut?Shit worth talking about:Master of the Pearl Trident, Merfolk Sovereign, Merrow Reejerey, Adaptive Automaton: LORDS! They make your stuff huge! this is why merfolk is a viable deck!Merrow Harbinger: more lords!Silvergill Adept: A 2/1 cantrip that has tribal synergy is really strong.
You play dudes and turn them sideways, when you can leave mana open for counter magic. On turn 2, 3 and 4 you want to play lords, once you have 2 or 3 you want to stomp your opponents with huge merfolk. Stuff that you need dead dies to Dismember, what doesn't die to Dismember getsunsummoned with Vapor Snag and everything else falls victim to Mana Leak.My budget decks are supposed to let you have fun! Which is what i think MtG should be about, i try to make these decks as competitive as possible while still leting you to have a blast while playing them. If you can make your friends to spend around 50$ you could buy 2-4(some of my decks are under 10$)And some are over 50) of my decks and make the experience even richer! Also don't just copy the whole deck(you can, but if you can improve something DO IT!), if you have a better idea pls let me know, i can't always make the perfect deck and sideboard. Again GL and HF!

Instead of the automaton, it may be worth putting 2 Door of Destinies!

How has the deck came along? Is it competitive at the FNM level? This kind of Merfolk deck intrigues me. I like it!
Have not built it yet, I don't think I ever will.Though it's pretty close to the usual builds so it should work just fine, I think you should see what else is out there and build what you think works best.
