So I stumbled upon Moorland Haunt and thought it would work with Misthollow Griffin. Then, because I hate The Azorius, I decided to make it esper cuz everything else made no sense to me.Shit worth talking about:Misthollow Griffin+Moorland Haunt: This gives you late game that few decks can beat. They both block very well and are threats that never die, with sorin they become even better.Mystical Teachings: It's just so stupidly broken, it gives you anything you need when you need it... TWO TIMES!Vault of the Archangel: Makes it so you aren't lacking life and that blocking is REALLY fun for you.Logic Knot: Might as well use up that giant graveyard right?
You control the game using mana leak with Think Twice as a backup plan if they don't cast anything, kill their guys and eventually cast a Misthollow Griffin. From this point on you are winning. The general gameplan is that of almost every control deck, stall and win, here you mostly just stall and eventually you will win.Misthollow Griffin on curve isn't really that good most of time and can cause you to loose. My budget decks are supposed to let you have fun! Which is what i think MtG should be about, i try to make these decks as competitive as possible while still leting you to have a blast while playing them. If you can make your friends to spend around 50$ you could buy 2-4(some of my decks are under 10$)And some are over 50) of my decks and make the experience even richer! Also don't just copy the whole deck(you can, but if you can improve something DO IT!), if you have a better idea pls let me know, i can't always make the perfect deck and sideboard. Again GL and HF!

Depends, my modern is tier 2-3 so yes, if yours is 1-2 then probably not.
