I got kicked with an illusion deck today sooooooo. . . This deck focuses on OP guys who die when touched.BEST CARDS:Lord of the Unreal: WIN! +1/+1 and hexproof!!Krovikan Mist: 5/5 at least, 2 mana 5/5 flyer is great in any aggro, in this one it gets +1/+1 and hexproof+it grows whenever you play a creature!Mizzium Skin: JUST REMEMBER TO OVERLOAD!!!
Ok so as a blue aggro deck you will get rid of things you don't like with Dissolve, Mizzium Skin and Vapor Snag while dealing 8 damage per turn with your illusions! My budget decks are supposed to let you have fun! Which is what i think MtG should be about, i try to make theese decks as competitive as possible while still leting you to have a blast while playing them. If you can make your friends to spend round 50$ you could buy 2-3 of my decks and make the experience even richer! Also don't just copy the whole deck(you can), if you have better idea pls let me know, i can't always make the perfect deck and sideboard. Again GL and HF!

In my experience with using illusions, draw power is needed.

Agreed with KJSJ3. I would take out one of the weaker of the Illusions, and add in 3 or 4 draw cards. Hell, if you want to keep your theme and not lose a creature, consider Fathom Seer. Sacking two lands is a lot of sacrifice...but the Illusions already cost so little mana, so it is an option. Telling Time is a decent Modern draw card. Think Twice is decent. Those two cards are both budget draw cards.Something like Serum Visions and Gitaxian Probe would work too...but are expensive. Good luck.
THX GUYS!!!!! I knew i was missing something!
I really love this deck for budget. The first thing I thought was that there was little protection for your Lord of the Unreal when you get him on the board. Then I saw Mizzium Skin. I haven't seen it in use with Illusions. The card is beautiful in use with them because if you want to defend just the lord from an instant, you can drop it for one mana. An alternative is to drop it for two mana and defend EACH of your illusions: not targeting them. Its important to remember though that even if you counter the spell by making the creature hexproof, the spell still targeted the creature and the creature still would be sacrificed. Great deck!
