An interesting take on mono red aggro. . .NOTE: Budget Baisic is a starter series of budget decks that tries to help new players pick up a given color and a strategy that goes with it. All these decks will be cheap, fun and unique in their own way. . .Previous Budget Baisic Red deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budget-burnin-burst/BEST CARDS:Urabrask the Hidden: Ahmm, read the card again, it reads During your next combat phase you WIN the game!Keldon Marauders: PURE RED VALUE!! 2 damage and a creature kill, 5 damage or (with Volt Charge) 8 damage or 5 damage and a creature kill. . .Fanatic of Mogis: one of the best game finishers ever, you can have 4 to 9 damage dealt with this guy every game!
Stromkirk Noble on turn one is not a rule but a big step toward an early victory, turn two you should give the 1/1 guy Madcap Skills, or play Keldon Marauders. Turn 3 has A LOT of different options but the best one is Volt Charge, it makes Keldon Marauders last a turn longer AND it gives your noble +1/+1. IF you turn 3 Volt Charge, use it on a blocker!Vs aggro you try to race them, Searing Blaze, Volt Charge, First Strike and Urabrask will help you the most, if you get all these you win. You can go on defensive as well, considering Volt Charge and +1/+1 counters. Also, know when not to unleash your guys. Against any slow strategy you need to win ASAP, Keldon Marauders, Erdwal Ripper, Mogis's Warhound and Madcap Skills will be your best friends, use Warhound and Fanatic of Mogis to great effect and you will win. . .My budget decks are supposed to let you have fun! Which is what i think MtG should be about, i try to make these decks as competitive as possible while still leting you to have a blast while playing them. If you can make your friends to spend around 50$ you could buy 2-4(some of my decks are under 10$) of my decks and make the experience even richer! Also don't just copy the whole deck(you can, but if you can improve something DO IT!), if you have a better idea pls let me know, i can't always make the perfect deck and sideboard. Again GL and HF!
