My Halloween budget deck. . .Back from the brink is a card i REALLY wanted to use in a deck for a while. Now i finally got it right, and it Halloween! The reason why i decided to make the deck now is cause it will make your opponents sideboard 15 enchantment removal spells! Just imagine what Thragtusk will do 2 3/3 bodies 2 5/3 bodies and 10 life! Also Feed the Pack!Shit worth of talking about:Back from the Brink: i love centering decks around underrated or underplayed cards and this one is just prefect! You get 6 -1/-1 counters,2 3/3 bodies 2 5/3 bodies and 10 life, 2 tutors, 2 recoils, 4 cards, 2 doom blades. The card wins every long game it provides sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much value.Feed the Pack: turns a slow grindy game into quick, mindless fun.Thragtusk: come on he's thrag, he shaped an entire meta. . .Skinrender: A shadowmoor lightning bolt on a stick? IN A BACK FROM THE BRINK DECK! This card is grose enough if played 1 time but 2 times, with a full set in the deck!
You want to start with hopefully one of your instants and few value creatures. Turn 5 thrag and turn 6 Back from the Brink is almost always a great game. Skinrender, Mulldrifter, Thragtusk and Shriekmaw will help you get to the 6/6 tutor and my dream come ture Sagu Mauler.Vs aggro you want to start with some combination of these: Thragtusk, Skinrender, Shriekmaw and Putrefy/Psychic Strike. If you can play thrag and brink you win, if you get enough creatures that kill creatures you win. Consuming Vapors is a great sb card here.Vs mid: unless they have a way to get rid of your enchantments every time and kill your Rune-Scarred Demons you win.Vs control you need to resolve some of your creatures or just a single enchantment. Everything you have has the ability to get you there, don't be overconfident and sb in 1 more feed the pack and bftb.My budget decks are supposed to let you have fun! Which is what i think MtG should be about, i try to make these decks as competitive as possible while still leting you to have a blast while playing them. If you can make your friends to spend around 50$ you could buy 2-4(some of my decks are under 10$) of my decks and make the experience even richer! Also don't just copy the whole deck(you can, but if you can improve something DO IT!), if you have a better idea pls let me know, i can't always make the perfect deck and sideboard. Again GL and HF!
